I open with distract and ambush. I have to use my prep for this fight, and both evasions. I have not had to use EVE Online Isk thistle tea (I trashed the recipe, just got it back) but I am going to start using it.

I also end up using my life-stone, whisper root tubers, and a heal potion. I recently added crystal restores, and night dragon s breath so I am hoping it gets easier.

Even though it's a tough fight, with the new items I added I think it will go easier but it can be done. The Ace is a rear drop but a nice prize.

If you have a decent amount of attack power, it's not hard, go cat form. I find that Rip's are better, this isn't necessarily about speed, but it doesn't hurt, Ferocious Bite isn't going to hit this guy hard.

You can also solo the rock lord in the first area. Time the dogs as they are death to stealthers. They are nightmare on the way out. He hasn't dropped much worthwhile for me though.

Just leave the damage on it! It's not going to make Prot Warriors the kings of DPS among the tanks!
